ENLS 109.01 Public Speaking in the 21st Century MWF 12-12:50pm Michael Drexler

Public Speaking in the 21st Century incorporates an active, hands-on approach to developing oral presentation skills. Students gain practice in impromptu speeches, informative presentations, and commemorative occasions. Special attention is given to the transformation of public speaking online. AHLG ARHC FRST

ENLS 120.01 Lit & the Environment   MW 1:30-2:50pm     Jeremy Chow

“Nature Writing” reflects the growing interest in ecology and environmentalism in popular science writing. We will explore how experts from across disciplines take up issues such as: conservation, animal cognition, botany, environmental justice, climate change, zoonotic diseases, and more.
